After a long history at Pierce Atwood and Acadia Trust, Dick founded Spinnaker Trust in 2000 to offer his clients a new kind of financial management experience. His combination of estate and gift tax planning expertise, investment skills, and close personal relationships with clients help families coordinate, achieve their goals, and build a legacy that lasts for generations.

Dick and his wife Margaret have two grown daughters who are both MDs. One of his proudest moments as a father was watching his elder daughter place the MD hood over her younger sister at graduation. Dick and Margaret live in Falmouth.
